Mr. Ewan Kannegieter is a committed, caring and competent Consultant Podiatric Surgeon who has worked in the NHS for 18 years.

Mr. Kannegieter provides solutions for foot & ankle problems at The Baddow Hospital in Chelmsford. He also holds an NHS post as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Braintree Community Hospital in Essex employed by
Provide CIC.

Podiatric Surgeons are trained specifically in the management of foot problems, they are not medical doctors but have specialised in the non-surgical and surgical treatment of the foot. Mr. Kannegieter qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University with a distinction in 1999 and winner of the university's clinical medicine prize. Subsequently training in Bishop's Stortford, Epping, Colchester, Ilkeston and Reading he gained his fellowship in podiatric surgery in 2012. Having spent three years as a Specialist Registrar in Podiatric Surgery at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Ewan has honed his skills and experience in elective foot surgery and developed a special interest in the treatment of the rheumatoid foot. He carries out over 700 foot procedures per year and was appointed as a Tutor in Podiatric Surgery by the College of Podiatry in 2017.
